The Latitude E6430 ATG is armored with a Tri-Metal™ casing, anodized aluminum display back, magnesium alloy wrapped corners, steel hinges, and powder-coated base to handle the tough demands of field work, in virtually any location or terrain. Port covers provide added protection from dust and weather, and stringent MIL-STD 810G and IP5X testing helps ensure protection from extreme temperatures, vibration, dust and high altitudes. The spill-resistant keyboard and LCD protective seal help protect the system from bumps and spills, while StrikeZone™ shock absorber, Fast Response Free-Fall Sensor, and rubber hard drive isolation help protect data from drops and vibration.
In addition, Dell’s new generation of Latitude E-family laptops are the most environmentally-responsible Latitude laptops ever. All systems are BFR/PVC-free1 and offer recyclable packaging and highly efficient power adapters.

The Latitude E6430 ATG is designed for anytime, anywhere collaboration with a high-performing antenna and the latest wireless and mobile broadband options. The optional builtin HD webcam, array microphones and Microsoft Unified Communications help provide optimal video conferencing.
The Latitude E6430 ATG provides an outdoor-viewable, 180-degree movable LED screen, optional handle, and backlit keyboard option to enable users to work comfortably even in sunlit or low-light environments. The optional resistive touch display responds even when wearing protective gloves.
